Roots to Wings^TM is a chain of pre-schools, designed to cater to the pre-schooling needs of the students from 2 to 5 years. The vision of the program is to enable, energize and enhance childhood by fostering growth of mind, body and spirit; leading students to become lifelong learners. Our mission is to nurture young minds in a culturally appropriate environment and provide opportunities that will help them realise their true potential. The curriculum approach focuses on imparting skill-based knowledge, using its unique seven petal approach and an eclectic approach.

Roots to Wings^TM works on a unique Seven Petal approach, which looks at enhancing the following skills areas:

Our curriculum is based on certain principles which we have borrowed from various schools of thought on early childhood. Based on the best practices of the various methods and approaches, such as Project method, Multiple Intelligence, Play Way, Montessori Method and Thematic approach, Roots to Wings^TM has evolved into an eclectic approach.

The instructional delivery is organized and is responsible for providing skills and concepts, involving problem solving, decision-making, questioning, evaluating and discovering, to the students.

Our philosophy is to provide each child with a culturally appropriate environment; and to provide values, love and protection needed to grow in body, mind and spirit. Our stimulating environment and a scientifically based curriculum lays the foundation to help every child achieve success in all phases of life.

Roots to Wings^TM Philosophy

Our ancient schools were held in natural surroundings. For us, the tree symbolizes the culturally appropriate, natural environment, for a child’s school.

A tree grows big if its roots are strong. And for a child, the roots are established in a pre-school, a child’s first educational experience.

Once the roots are strong, students will emerge strong, confident and creative. And ready to take wings to fly towards making their dreams a reality.

These were our thoughts while naming our curriculum Roots to Wings^TM.

Objectives of Roots to Wings^TM

1. To provide continuous stimulation for dynamic and holistic development of students.
2. To support, contribute and facilitate the developmental process of grooming young minds by upholding every child’s right to education with a strong belief in inclusive education.
3. To create an environment for the smooth transition of a child from an informal homely atmosphere to a formal learning atmosphere.
4. To work in partnership with parents in their challenging and rewarding journey on the various aspects of childhood and parenting.
