Mr. Shantanu Prakash, MBA (IIM- Ahmedabad) is the Chairman and Managing Director of Educomp Solutions Limited. An early proponent of education technology (edtech), Shantanu founded Educomp in 1994 by setting up computer labs in schools just a few years after acquiring an MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

After that, Educomp expanded into developing and licensing computer-aided lessons for both public and private schools. Shantanu Prakash’s vision as the founder and chairman of Educomp Solutions has been to transform the teaching-learning process through the use of technology and best practices.

As an advocate of better education, Shantanu also the Founded the Learning Leadership Foundation (LLF), an organization dedicated to bringing best practices in education to under-resourced schools.
